The movie Robots has as main theme the new technological age: robotics. In history, the city is populated entirely by robots and the main character is the Rodney bodywork. The charismatic robot has a big dream: to become an inventor. Driven since childhood by the big welder and your father, the young left in a trip to the big city in search of its dreams.
On the trip, Rodney faces various hardships to achieve their goal and meets a group of robots, who call themselves the "Rusty". At this stage, our hero wins a shelter, friends and work doing repairs on the society Robópolis (city of robots), showing the talent and skill of a great inventor.
In that period of repairs, the inventor has won two enemies, Dom Steel and his mother, Madame Board. Together they try to end the robots off-line to make room for robots modernized.
After getting into amusing scrapes, Rodney the robot promote a rebellion against the army of Don Steel and come out victorious. In the end, Robópolis becomes the happy, harmonious and "Rod" realizes his dream.
The film is a critique of mass culture of consumerism, as the slightly lower tech robots are destroyed without mercy to obtain raw materials in the construction of new robots.
I recommend it. This movie is a good example of leadership, persistence and ability for face real life problems in the pursuit of our dreams
