Ecological Economics


It is a multidisciplinary field acting in the areas of science, technology, industry and bológica relating ecosystems and the economic system, engaging summaries of these concepts to economic development while minimizing environmental impacts.
This expression represents a combination of the words: economics that comes from the Greek oikonomia,-acts, management of the house - whose meanings are: rule and restraint in spending, the ability to manage the property or income, a set of laws governing the production and distribution of wealth benefit that results from spending a little, and ecological - ecological drift (ecology + ic) adj. Relative ecology, respect environmental principles, which defends environmentalism.
Historically, ecological economics has emerged in the mid 60s and 70s due to economic issues, social and political movements by environmentalists, who criticized the model of economic growth and preservation of environmental resources.

An example of the application of ecological economics is ecobag, eco-friendly bag, built with 100% degradable fabric, thread and ink water-based, without petroleum products.
